Our Deepest Fear

marianne-williamson “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small do es not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

The possibilities of thought training are infinite

BriceMarden

The possibilities of thought training are infinite, its consequences eternal,
and yet few take pains to direct their thinking into channels that will do  good,
but instead leave them all to chance. Brice Marden
This one is so true. One needs to break it down and consider it carefully and even take action and do some about it.

Attitudes control our lives

happy-feet1.gif

“Our attitudes control our lives. Attitudes are a secret power working 24 hours a day, for good or bad. It is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force” – Tom Blandi.

The Law of Attraction (The Secret) says that:  “We attract what we think about most.”  The bible says:  “As a man thinketh so is he”  and as you can see from the quote above from Tom Blandi, a 1907 French Author, our attitudes control our lives. I agree completely with Tom when he says; “is is of paramount importance that we know how to harness and control this great force” Well the most basic way of harnessing and controlling this great force is to ensure that we always – as much as you possibly can, have an attitude of gratitude.                               If you are attracting what you think about (and you definitely are) then you want to attract good things. We want to attract as much positive stuff as possible. So it follows that the more you are positive about stuff the more positive stuff you will attract. Its not rocket science, but we do to realize the truth of it and make sure it is working for us in our lives. If we want more good stuff than the bad, make sure we spend more time thinking about good positive things. Make sure you are consciously grateful about all the good things that are going on in your life. Look for things to be grateful for. Celebrate the nice things. That way you will get more of it. Does that make sense?    images-miscellaneous-2006-eye-700x7001.jpg There is so much to be grateful for; life, sight, breath, electricity (most of the time), good rugby! J  If you spend most of your time being miserable or depressed you will get more and more things to be miserable and depressed about. So how do you change if you need to?                                                                                          Well firstly you decided to change, decide that from not on you are a positive person and be one. It’s that simple, be one. Make lists of why you like your job, why you like your spouse, why you are grateful for this or that, make lists and keep reading them over and over. Be grateful, emotionally grateful, for as much as you possible can, maintain an attitude of gratitude and more and more things to be grateful for will come your way!

Attitudes Colour!
